Co-curated by Synergos and the 2024 Business & Philanthropy Forum, this immersive fellowship is crafted for aspiring wealth stewards, inheritors and social influencers, equipping the next generation with the leadership skills to navigate a rapidly evolving world with confidence.

Renowned entrepreneur whose family business journey spans multiple generations.

In Session Three, “Bridging Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy: Driving Change Through Innovation and Heritage,” Joel shares his journey from a family business to forging his own path. His story is one of innovation, resilience and legacy, exploring the challenges and triumphs of navigating an evolving business landscape and the role of family heritage in building a successful business mindset.

Ryan Manafe

Driven entrepreneur with a passion for innovation and a vision for impactful change.

In Session Four, “My Personal Startup Journey,” Ryan shares how his startup began with a desire to fill a gap in the market. He has built Dagangan, a digitalised distribution network platform that empowers rural and suburban Indonesia and aims to make a meaningful impact in the industry. His story offers inspiration for anyone interested in startup life or aspiring to become an entrepreneur.

 

Hillary Tjioe

Second-generation leader of MM Galleri Group, Indonesia.

In Session Five, Hillary embodies the entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of many family businesses. As she leads one of Southeast Asia’s top stone suppliers, she is also championing mental health and self-care, redefining resilience in her field. She shares how prioritising well-being is helping her navigate the demands of the industry while driving MM Galleri forward.

Ken Goldman

In Session Six, Ken provides an insightful overview of tech entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley and the role of family office investments. He explores how family offices are shaping the landscape of innovation, discussing trends, challenges and opportunities within the tech sector, and sheds light on the intersection of entrepreneurial spirit and strategic investment in this dynamic environment.

Kwek Pei Xuan

In Session Seven, “Navigating Uncertainty in a Next-Gen Transition,” Pei Xuan represents a new breed of successors emerging to power their family enterprises in innovative ways. She is making her mark in the sustainability field at Hong Leong Asia, and shares her journey on how she is driving positive change and ensuring the company thrives in a rapidly changing world.

 

Galahad Clark

Galahad Clark is a seventh-generation cobbler and Co-founder of Vivobarefoot, the regenerative footwear company he built from the heritage of his family’s iconic Clarks shoe brand. On a mission to reconnect people with nature and natural movement, Vivobarefoot has grown into a £100M global business selling 1.5 million pairs annually.

The heart of the fellowship is a one-day masterclass on 6 November (10AM–6PM). The day opens with two facilitated sessions by Alliance For Good and Synergos on Bridging Leadership methodology and systems thinking and collaboration, equipping participants with tools to bridge differences and drive systemic change. The programme then moves into a series of next-gen leader sessions: Joel Cadbury on bridging entrepreneurship and philanthropy through innovation and heritage; Ryan Manafe on his startup journey building Dagangan in Indonesia; Hillary Tjioe on leading MM Galleri Group while championing well-being; Ken Goldman on tech entrepreneurship and family-office investment in Silicon Valley; Kwek Pei Xuan on navigating a next-gen transition and sustainability at Hong Leong Asia; and Galahad Clark. The day closes with a cocktail reception at the Highlight Art Gallery.

Immersive masterclass: Delivered a one-day leadership masterclass on 6 November (10AM–6PM) at Shangri-La Singapore, equipping next-gen leaders with Bridging Leadership methodology and systems thinking.

Global mentorship: Connected participants with accomplished leaders including Joel Cadbury, Ken Goldman, Kwek Pei Xuan and Galahad Clark, sharing insights on entrepreneurship, philanthropy and family succession.

Exclusive retreat: Selected participants were invited to a February 2025 retreat to connect with Synergos founder Ms. Peggy Dulany Rockefeller.
