2026 PRIVATE LUNCH WITH PEGGY ROCKEFELLER

Alliance for Good hosted an intimate private lunch and dialogue with Peggy Dulany Rockefeller, founder of Synergos, bringing together a select group of NextGen leaders from prominent families across Asia for a thoughtful conversation on legacy, philanthropy, and the responsibilities of leadership.

The discussion invited participants to reflect on what it means to be a philanthropist today — not only as a giver of capital, but as a steward of trust, relationships, and long-term social impact. Drawing on Peggy’s decades of work across philanthropy, systems change, and cross-sector collaboration, the lunch explored how philanthropy can become a practice of listening, partnership, and shared responsibility rather than simply an extension of family giving.

For many NextGen family business owners, the session also opened up a deeper conversation around the evolving meaning of inheritance and leadership. Beyond managing wealth or continuing a family enterprise, participants considered how the next generation can define their own voice while honoring the values, histories, and expectations that shape them. The dialogue touched on the unique position of NextGen leaders as bridge-builders — between generations, between business and philanthropy, and between private influence and public good.

Set in a warm and trusted environment, the lunch created space for honest exchange, personal reflection, and peer connection. It formed part of Alliance for Good’s ongoing commitment to nurturing a new generation of family leaders who approach wealth, business, and philanthropy with purpose, responsibility, and a broader sense of contribution.
