We have advised a family foundation in New York with a pilot project that brings cutting-edge technology and high-quality teacher training to improve preschool and kindergarten education for disadvantaged children in rural China.

OUTCOMES
About 100 kindergartens and preschool education centres have improved access to teacher training and “wired” digital tools in their child development facilities.
Project sites will have a mechanism for collaboration among health, education, and welfare sectors, as well as with the local government, so as to explore possible digital innovations in improving the early childhood care and education in disadvantaged communities.
Our partners convened decision makers and planners from the Ministry of Education and other related ministries to share the results of the pilot and to explore project replication.
